    This Privacy Policy describes how VCO Job, having its registered office at No.903, 80 Feet Rd, 6th Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560095 (“Company”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, processes, stores, uses, shares, and protects Personal Data of individuals registering or operating on the Platform as Professionals / Service Providers.
      Professionals include, but are not limited to:
    • Home & Maintenance Experts: Painters, Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters, Masonry workers, and Pest Control technicians.
    • Appliance & Gadget Technicians: AC/Refrigerator mechanics, RO/Water Purifier experts, and CCTV/Security system installers.
    • Logistics & Transportation: On-demand Drivers (for rent), Delivery Partners, and Packers & Movers.
    • IT & Software Developers: iOS & Android App Developers, Website Developers, UI/UX Designers, and QA Testers.
    • Digital Freelancers: Graphic Designers, Content Writers, Video Editors, and Social Media Managers.
    • Professional Consultants: Business Consultants, Legal Advisors, Tax/Financial Experts, and Management Strategists.
    • Cleaning & Lifestyle Services: Professional House Cleaners, Beauticians, Yoga Trainers, and Physiotherapists.
    • Specialized Gig Workers: Virtual Assistants, Data Entry Specialists, and Event Organizers.
    Such individuals are hereinafter referred to as “Professionals” or “Data Principals” under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • LEGAL BASIS & APPLICABILITY
      This Privacy Policy is issued pursuant to:
    • • Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000
    • • IT (Reasonable Security Practices & SPDI) Rules, 2011
    • • Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India)
    • • This Policy applies only to Professionals / Service Providers.
    • • Vendors, Delivery Partners, and Customers are governed by separate privacy policies.

    Professional & Skill Data
    • • Skill category and sub-category
    • • Experience details
    • • Certifications, driving licenses, other licenses, or registrations (where applicable)
    • • Service pricing, availability, service areas
    Financial & Tax Data
    • • Bank account details for payouts
    • • PAN (if applicable)
    • • Transaction history, earnings, incentives
    Note: Card details are not stored. Payments are processed via RBI-compliant third-party gateways.
    Location Data (Professionals Only)
    The Platform may collect and process:
    • Service Area Location: City, locality, or zones selected by the Professional for service availability.
    • Job Location Details: Customer service address shared only after booking confirmation.
    • Visit Confirmation & Dispute Resolution: Location timestamps to confirm arrival, service completion, or resolve disputes.
    Important: Real-time live location tracking of Professionals is enabled only during an active service request, with explicit consent, and is automatically disabled upon completion of the service. Technical & Usage Data

  • PURPOSE OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
    (Section 6, Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)
    VCO Job processes Personal Data of Professionals only for specific, lawful, and necessary purposes, in accordance with Section 6 of the DPDP Act and the principles of purpose limitation and data minimization.
    A. Onboarding & Eligibility Verification
    • • Identity, Selfie and KYC verification
    • • Skill validation and document checks
    • • Age and eligibility verification
    B. Profile Creation & Service Enablement
    • • Display of professional profile, skills, pricing, and availability
    • • Enabling service discovery and booking by customers
    C. Job Allocation & Service Fulfilment
    • • Sharing job details and service location
    • • Facilitating on-site or remote service delivery
    • • Recording job status and completion
    D. Payments, Incentives & Settlements
    • • Processing service fees and incentives
    • • Payouts to bank accounts
    • • Tax and statutory compliance
    E. Communication & Support
    • • Job notifications and service updates
    • • Customer support and dispute resolution
    • • Operational and policy communications
    F.Fraud Prevention & Legal Compliance
    • • Preventing misuse, impersonation, or fraudulent activity
    • • Responding to lawful government or court requests
  • CONSENT & LAWFUL BASIS
    Processing is carried out:
    • • With explicit consent obtained during onboarding and in-app permissions; and/or
    • • As a legitimate use necessary for service delivery, contractual obligations, and legal compliance under the DPDP Act, 2023.
    Withdrawal of consent may limit or terminate access to Platform services.

    • • Skill/service details
    • • Service availability and confirmation
    With Data Processors
    • • Payment gateways
    • • Cloud hosting providers
    • • Communication service providers
    With Government / Legal Authorities
    • • When required by law or court order
    Data Sharing with Group Entities & Associated Organizations
    Personal Data of Professionals may be shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with entities that are directly or indirectly associated with the Platform, only for lawful and legitimate purposes, including service enablement, compliance, operations, and support.
    Such entities may include:
    • • Group companies, sister concerns, and affiliates
    • • Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Co-operative Societies
    • • Private Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs)
    • • Partnership Firms and Sole Proprietorships
    • • Franchisees, channel partners, and authorized representatives
    • • Vendors, service partners, and subcontractors
    • • Branch offices, associates, and operational units
    Purpose Limitation
    Data sharing with the above entities is carried out only to the extent necessary for:
    • • Onboarding, verification, and service allocation
    • • Operational support and service fulfilment
    • • Payment processing, settlements, and accounting
    • • Compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
    • • Customer support, grievance handling, and dispute resolution
    Consent & Safeguards
    • • Such sharing is undertaken with explicit consent obtained from the Professional or as a legitimate use permitted under the DPDP Act, 2023.
    • • All recipient entities are contractually bound to:
      • • Use Personal Data solely for authorized purposes
      • • Maintain confidentiality and reasonable security practices
      • • Comply with applicable data protection laws
    • Personal Data is not sold, rented, or shared for independent marketing purposes without separate, explicit consent.
  • DATA SECURITY
    Reasonable security practices are implemented, including:
    • • Encryption at rest and in transit
    • • Secure access controls
    • • Periodic security reviews
  • DATA RETENTION & ERASURE
    • • Data is retained while the Professional account remains active
    • • Retained longer only if required by law
    • • Upon request, data is erased or anonymized unless legally required otherwise
  • RIGHTS OF DATA PRINCIPALS (DPDP ACT)
    Professionals have the right to:
    • • Access personal data
    • • Correct or update inaccurate data
    • • Withdraw consent
    • • Request erasure
    • • Nominate another person for rights exercise
    • • File grievances
  • CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATIONS
    Professionals must:
    • • Use customer data strictly for service fulfilment
    • • Not store, misuse, or disclose customer data
    • • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • PLATFORM VS PROFESSIONAL DATA ROLE DISCLAIMER
    • Professionals act as independent service providers and do not function as Data Fiduciaries for customer Personal Data collected by the Platform. Processing by Professionals shall be limited to service fulfilment and governed by applicable data protection laws.
  • AGE RESTRICTION
    • Only individuals 18 years and above may register as Professionals.
  • CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFER
    Data may be processed outside India only in compliance with:
    • • DPDP Act, 2023
    • • Government-notified jurisdictions
  • POLICY UPDATES
    • Policy updates will be notified via the Platform. Continued usage constitutes acceptance.
